The Triple Threat Studio is a focused one-day intensive designed for young performers who want to develop the skills, confidence and versatility required to perform at a higher level.
Students will work across acting, vocal performance and musical theatre, exploring not only the technical skills behind each discipline, but how they connect to create a compelling, well-rounded performer.
Led by experienced performers and performing arts educators, the day combines practical training, performance coaching and industry insight in a supportive environment designed specifically for young artists.

The Triple Threat Studio is led by experienced performers and performing arts educators with professional credits across stage, screen and musical theatre.
Our teaching team brings first-hand knowledge of the professional performance environment. From auditions and rehearsals to performance, filming and working collaboratively with creative teams.
Students aren't simply being told what the industry looks like.
They're learning from people who have worked in it.
And we're committed to translating that experience into practical, age-appropriate training that students can actually use.
THREE DISCIPLINES. ONE PERFORMER.
A professional performer needs more than one skill.
Throughout the day, students will develop their understanding of:
ACTING
Character. Story. Intention. Choice.
Students will work with text, character and scene material, developing the tools to make clear, confident and considered acting choices.
We'll explore character objectives, relationships, physicality, listening and the importance of responding truthfully rather than simply delivering lines.
VOCAL PERFORMANCE
Technique. Musicality. Interpretation.
Singing isn't simply about getting the notes right.
Students will work on vocal technique, musicality and performance, exploring how breath, voice, intention and character come together when performing a song.
We'll look at acting through song and what it takes to communicate a story rather than simply sing it.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Movement. Storytelling. Stagecraft.
Students will develop musical theatre performance skills through choreography and movement, exploring musicality, character, spatial awareness and performance quality.
Because knowing the choreography is only part of the job. The goal is to perform it.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Triple Threat Studio is designed for young performers who are:
Already training in performing arts and want to extend their skills
Interested in musical theatre, acting or performance
Considering a future in the performing arts
Preparing for auditions or future performance opportunities
Looking for more challenging and industry-informed training
Newer to performance but ready to take their skills seriously
Previous professional experience is not required.
Students will be challenged at their own level, with an emphasis on growth, curiosity and high-quality performance practice.
About the Workshop Director
Meet Veronica — The Coach Who Actually Walks the Walk
The Performer Intensive is led by Veronica Clavijo, a professional actor, writer and creative producer. This intensive is designed to give young performers a space to explore, grow and feel genuinely supported.
With experience across screen and stage, Veronica brings both industry knowledge and a deeply human approach to teaching. Her goal is to help students build confidence, trust their instincts and connect to their creativity.
As the founder of The Pretend People, her work is driven by a belief that every child deserves the chance to express themselves, be imaginative, and develop skills that go far beyond performance.
Her screen work includes:
F Ward (Stan), Deadly Women (Beyond), Final Broadcast, Keith Urban & P!nk’s One Too Many, Face Up to the Sun, plus major campaigns for Bankwest, CitiBank, Real Insurance, and Tylenol.
Her stage highlights:
Recently, Ophelia in Hamlet with Mad In Craft for Sydney Fringe, Sarah in Atlantis with Subtlenuance at KXT Broadway. Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain, Marion in Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Big Jule in Guys and Dolls.
She’s also directed and coached young performers in Shrek Jr, Aladdin Kids, and assisted on The Lightning Thief (Regals) and Margaret Fulton: Queen of the Dessert (Bondi Theatre Company) and is currently directing the parody adaptation of Once More With Feeling, Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Veronica is the rare coach who blends professional-level training with playfulness, emotional intelligence, and genuine belief in every young performer she teaches. She knows how to challenge kids in ways that feel safe, exciting, and confidence-boosting — not intimidating.

Adrian Espulso
Adrian is a performer working and living in Sydney. He’s most recently appeared in ABC Kids ‘Splashdance’, NRL ‘Drinkwise’ campaign, and Schick Razors ‘The Man I Am’ campaign.
Adrian was a top 8 contestant on Channel Ten’s Triple Threat show “I WILL SURVIVE” and has since performed in many live shows. He’s currently playing Manuel in Fawlty Towers and Ray in Confetti & Chaos with Interactive Theatre. He toured with ‘Eireborne – The Rebirth Of Irish Dance’ as their lead singer, ‘Jersey To Motown’ (Lovegrove Entertainment) and played Motel in ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ (RMS). Adrian also played Ricko in ‘Black Rock’ (Epicentre Theatre Company) and Judy in ‘The Fabulous Punch and Judy Show’ (Brent Thorpe).
Adrian has starred in many screen projects, including short films, television and commercials. He played Frank in ‘Frank Calls’ (Guillermo Sepúlveda) and Ralph Giancola in ‘Deadly Women’ (Beyond Productions).
Adrian holds a Cert IV in Performing Arts, completed the Estill Voice Training course and the Sing Over King CODA program. He trains with singing coach Linda Nagle and the team at Sydney Actors Collective. When Adrian is not performing, you can find him fixing trucks or playing football.
