Three incredible days of creativity, skill-building, and confidence for young performers of all levels. Whether your child dreams of the stage or simply loves to move, sing, and act, our workshops are designed to inspire, challenge, and celebrate every participant.
Taught by experienced industry professionals, these sessions combine real performance skills with loads of fun in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

Day 1
MON 29TH SEPT– Acting, Singing, Acro & Dance! (Kindy–Year 6 & Teen)

9:30–12pm: Acting & Singing Workshop (includes 15 min recess)
Lunch break
12:30–3pm: Acro & Dance Skills Workshop
Years 3–6
9:30–12pm: Acro & Dance Skills Workshop (includes 15 min recess)

Teen Dance & Acro Skills
9.30-3pm: Combination of dance and acro skills in various styles, tailored to the group!
Day 2
TUES 30TH SEPT – Musical Theatre & Acting (Years 3–6 &Teen)
Years 3–6
9:30–12pm: Musical Theatre Skills – learn the core techniques of performing in a musical (includes 15 min recess)
Lunch break
12:30–3pm: Musical Theatre Performance – put your skills into practice with a song, acting and choreography
High School
9:30–12pm: Teen Musical Theatre Skills – professional-level training for aspiring performers (includes 15 min recess)
Lunch break
12:30–3pm: Teen Musical Theatre Performance – act, sing, and move in a mini performance
Day 3
WEDS 1ST OCT – Acting, Singing & Audition Skills (Years 3–6 & Teen)
9:30–12pm: Acting for Screen & Self-Tape – learn camera techniques and audition confidence (includes 15 min recess)
Lunch break
12:30–3pm: Musical Theatre Auditions – acting through song, cold reads, and callback tips from the pros

Who’s It For?
These October School Holiday workshops are designed for creative, curious kids and teens who love to move, express, and shine—whether they’re experienced performers or confident first-timers.
Kindy – Year 2: Let little ones unleash their imaginations with playful, age-appropriate drama, acro, and dance activities.
Years 3–6: Whether your child thrives in movement, musical moments, acting scenes, or audition prep. They’ll find their zone through targeted skills and performance fun.
Teens & High School (Years 7+): A powerful, focused experience for those serious about musical theatre, performance technique, auditions, or screen acting, all led by working industry professionals.
These workshops are perfect for:

Veronica Clavijo
FOUNDER & WORKSHOP CO-ORDINATOR
Veronica is a multi-skilled artist based in Sydney. Recently, she played Hanna in ‘Final Broadcast’ (Williams Street Productions), featured in Keith Urban and P!nk’s film clip ‘One Too Many’, Mike Williams and Justin Mylo’s film clip ‘Face Up To The Sun’, international TV commercial campaign for ‘Tylenol’ and national TV commercial campaigns for ‘CitiBank’ and ‘Real Insurance.’
She played Lina Lamont in ‘Singing In The Rain’ (RMS), Marion in 'Priscilla: Queen of the Desert’ (Regals) , Louise in ‘Alison’s House’ (Depot Theatre), Tzeitel in ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ (RMS) and Woman in ‘A Blobfish Who Knew How To Dance Salsa’ (Ayla Drama Group) and Maria in ‘9-5: The Musical’ and ‘Gangster 2’ in ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ (Regals).
She has directed Shrek Jr (D2S), Aladdin Kids (D2S) and was assistant director for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Regals).
Veronica is passionate about empowering the next generation of performers and believes wholeheartedly in diverse storytelling.

Adrian Espulso
ACTING, SINGING & MUSICAL THEATRE
Adrian is a performer working and living in Sydney. He’s most recently appeared in ABC Kids ‘Splashdance’, NRL ‘Drinkwise’ campaign, and Schick Razors ‘The Man I Am’ campaign. Adrian currently plays Manuel in Fawlty Towers and Ray in Confetti & Chaos with Interactive Theatre.
Adrian was a top 8 contestant on Channel Ten’s Triple Threat show “I WILL SURVIVE” and has since performed in many live shows. He toured with ‘Eireborne – The Rebirth Of Irish Dance’ as their lead singer, ‘Jersey To Motown’ (Lovegrove Entertainment) and played Motel in ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ (RMS). Adrian also played Ricko in ‘Black Rock’ (Epicentre Theatre Company) and Judy in ‘The Fabulous Punch and Judy Show’ (Brent Thorpe).
Adrian has starred in many screen projects, including short films, television and commercials. He played Frank in ‘Frank Calls’ (Guillermo Sepúlveda) and Ralph Giancola in ‘Deadly Women’ (Beyond Productions).
Adrian holds a Cert IV in Performing Arts, completed the Estill Voice Training course and the Sing Over King CODA program.
He trains with singing coach Linda Nagle and the team at Sydney Actors Collective.
When Adrian is not performing, you can find him fixing trucks or playing football.

Ashton Lash
MUSICAL THEATRE
Ashton is so excited to be doing a workshop with The Pretend People. She has spent the last 4 years on Hamilton The Musical (swing/DC) and just finished performing The Producers at Hayes Theatre (swing/ensemble/DC).
She studied at ED5INTERNATIONAL, where she received her Diploma of Performing Arts.
Ashton is very passionate about educating and passing on skills that translate in both a professional environment as well as a personal one. Performers are so brave and multifaceted, so they deserve to learn and understand the skills that will allow them to have a prosperous, long & healthy career in the arts!

Robyn Makhoul
ACTING & SELF TAPE TECHNIQUES
Robyn is a professional actor and passionate teaching artist, known for bringing emotional truth, versatility, and professionalism to her work. Her on screen credits include guest roles in Netflix’s Heartbreak High (Season 1) and Binge’s The Last Anniversary (2025), along with a range of television commercials and independent film projects. She is professionally represented by CMT Management.
With early foundations in theatre- including work with ATYP and acclaimed productions directed by industry leaders Meryl Tankard and Kate Gaul- Robyn developed a deep understanding of character, movement, and ensemble storytelling before shifting her focus to screen. She has trained extensively with Sydney Actors Collective and holds a Bachelor of Dance Performance and a Master of Secondary Education (Dance & Drama), bringing a rare blend of industry insight and educational expertise to her work.
Robyn has spent years nurturing young performers in the classroom, helping them access creative expression while building the discipline, confidence, and technical skills essential to foundational acting and movement practice. Her teaching is grounded, empathetic, and directly informed by her professional experience- making her workshops both creatively rich and industry relevant.
As a collaborator with Dorothy Creatives, Robyn has contributed to a series of short film projects, working as an actor, writer, director, and producer. This hands-on, behind the scenes experience has deepened her understanding of the screen storytelling process and strengthened her skills as both a performer and a trusted creative partner. She also brings years of practical self tape experience, having navigated the demands of remote auditions and screen tests across film, television, and commercial work.
Her workshops combine professional standards with a warm, grounded approach- supporting young actors to grow in confidence, connect deeply with their characters, and deliver truthful, compelling performances on camera. Robyn is especially passionate about working with youth, meeting them where they are while guiding them toward their full creative potential.
